Atmospheric is a creative ensemble of extremely talented musicians and a 
master DJ led by violinist Katherine Hughes. The ensemble incorporates  two violins, 
flute, saxophone, drums, congas, bass,  and a myriad of innovative percussion, musically 
integrated with a master DJ. The DJ adds another dimension to the live music experience by 
providing the basic track loops that weave throughout the live performance. In a fluid and 
almost organic manner, the ensemble creates a unique blend of World, Gypsy, Latin, Indian, 
Mediterranean, Afro-Cuban, Jazz, Techno-Funk and Contemporary music.  

Atmospheric provides four hours of continuous entertainment that blends exquisitely with 
the visual elements and lighting effects of any room. It is an environmental musical 
experience with contemporary lounge textures.   

At any point during the event, the DJ can take over the mix and move the party to the 
dance floor.
